Report: Michael Vick will not play against Buccaneers Sunday
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a report from ESPN’s Phil Sheridan.
Nick Foles is expected to start in his place. Rookie Matt Barkley is expected to be activated and be Foles’ backup.
Vick was listed as questionable as recently as Friday and was a full participant in practice that day, according to a report from the Inquirer’s Zach Berman.
Berman did report, however, that someone close to the situation said that it was “doubtful” that Vick would actually play.

Vick himself doesn't seem all that optimistic about his chances of playing Sunday either.
Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com reports that during an interview with Derrick Gunn at the team hotel in Tampa, Vick said that he has a "long road back to health."
"Right now, still working to get back to it — get to 100 percent," Vick told Gunn. "So it's going to be a long road."
