Again, Marshawn Lynch provides few answers at Super Bowl

PHOENIX - Marshawn Lynch had a different message. "You know why I'm here," the Seahawks running back said Wednesday to a throng of media members at the Seahawks' Super Bowl press availability.

PHOENIX - Marshawn Lynch had a different message.

"You know why I'm here," the Seahawks running back said Wednesday to a throng of media members at the Seahawks' Super Bowl press availability.

A day after answering five minutes of questions during media day with the same response - "I'm here so I won't get fined" - Lynch repeated, "You know why I'm here" to most of the questions he was asked.

The press-shy Lynch has repeatedly dodged reporters over the last two years and has been subsequently fined by the NFL. He took a $50,000 hit to the wallet in November. But with each media session during Super Bowl week, his stance on the issue has gained more notoriety.

"Nothing changed from yesterday," Lynch said after he took a seat at his podium. "I'm still the same person I was from yesterday and I've got the same thing for you that I had yesterday."

That didn't stop the questions, some of which didn't reflect well on the Super Bowl media.

Marshawn, why do you have to be a jerk to all of us?

While Lynch wasn't expected to receive a fine for his shortened appearances, ESPN reported that the league would penalize him for wearing a hat Tuesday that was not sanctioned by the NFL.

On Wednesday he wore a similar hat with a "B" on it, as in "Beast Mode" - Lynch's nickname.

Are you concerned about getting fined for your hat?

"You know why I'm here," Lynch said.

After five minutes, Lynch said, "Thank you, all. I appreciate it," and got up and left.
