NEW JERSEY Gov. Chris Christie ought to take that oversized orange sweater he drapes over his rotund body and shove it . . . in his mouth.

Once again, the Outlaw Jersey Whale showed up to cheer on the Cowboys - and hug team owner Jerry Jones.

This time it was at yesterday's NFC divisional playoff against the Packers at Lambeau Field.

And once again he found time to diss Philly fans.

"The people here are great," he told NJ.com's Steve Politi, referring to Packers fans. "This isn't like going to Philly. That's a different story."

Last month, when the Eagles played the Cowboys, Christie said Birds fans were the "worst in America."

Although he bears a remarkable resemblance to the Republican's elephant mascot, the party would be wise not to run Dumbo in the 2016 presidential election.

Christie reportedly paid for himself and his son to attend yesterday's game. In the past, Jones has reportedly picked up the tab, which has led some to question the governor's ethics as Jones has a financial stake in a company that conducts business with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

In another twist, Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan also attended yesterday's game with his children.

Ryan posted a photo on his Twitter account showing the family braving the sub-freezing elements at the Frozen Tundra.

After the Cowboys lost - in part to a controversial call by a referee - Ryan couldn't help but take a poke at Christie.

"Gov. Christie," Ryan tweeted. "Do you need a hug now?"
