Eagles' Mathis added to Pro Bowl squad

Eagles guard Evan Mathis, originally a second alternate, was named to the Pro Bowl yesterday when Philly's own Jahri Evans, of the Saints, turned down his invitation, citing injury. Mathis will play in the game for the second year in a row. He joins linebacker Connor Barwin, center Jason Kelce, returner Darren Sproles, running back LeSean McCoy and left tackle Jason Peters . . . NFL.com reported that Eagles assistant defensive backs coach Todd Lyght is leaving to become d-backs coach at Vanderbilt.
