Darren Sproles

UP - Another week removed from a knee sprain, Darren Sproles was back in early season form, which is to say he was arguably the best player on the field. He ran a punt back 65 yards for a touchdown - his second of the season - and ran 8 yards for a first-quarter score.

Mark Sanchez

UP - There were some throws he would have liked back, and a few he might want to erase from memory, but Sanchez had some beautiful passes, avoided costly mistakes and guided to Eagles to win No. 7.

Jordan Matthews

UP - The rookie receiver had been consistent all season, but he broke out on Monday night with the first 100-yard receiving game of his short career. With predecessor Jason Avant on the other side, Matthews owned the middle of the field.

Bradley Fletcher and Cary Williams

UP - The Eagles not only recorded their first cornerback interception of the season, but they had two in the first half. Williams had the first and Fletcher took the second back for a pick six when Cam Newton threw behind his receiver.

Connor Barwin

UP - If he keeps it up, Barwin will be headed to his first Pro Bowl. He notched 31/2 sacks and has a team-high 101/2 this season. He needs only 11/2 sacks in the final seven games to set a career high.

Eagles O-Line

UP - With 4/5 of the starting unit together for the first time this season - and that's as good as it will get with Todd Herremans done for the year - Sanchez consistently had a clean pocket to step up in and throw.

Up-tempo offense

UP - The Eagles' 10-play, 91-yard drive in the second quarter had to be the fastest Chip Kelly's offense has looked since he became head coach. With Sanchez at the controls, the offense was so fast that the officials weren't set before one snap.

Bennie Logan

UP - All of the Eagles' run defenders were stout for most of the night, but the Eagles nose tackle was a tackling machine in the first half. Logan had several run stops against Panthers running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.

Brent Celek

UP - The Eagles tight end was rewarded for all of his dirty work as a blocker and set season highs in catches and receiving yards.

Turnovers

UP - For the first time this season, the Eagles had zero turnovers and predictably won by a large margin over the turnover-prone Panthers. It wasn't a perfect effort overall, but Kelly had said he wanted to see his team play four solid quarters and it delivered.

Cam Newton

DOWN - He was obviously limited by a leg injury, thus affecting his ability to escape harm as he has through most of his career, but Newton was brutal as a passer. He didn't get much help from a porous offensive line.

Titletown

UP - Bring on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. It should be quite the tilt in frigid Green Bay.
