THE EAGLES now have four of their seven draftees under contract, after fourth-round cornerback Jaylen Watkins and fifth-round defensive lineman Taylor Hart signed their deals Monday. The Birds also signed corner Davon Morgan, who played indoor football last year and was with the Jets in their 2011 camp, after starring at Virginia Tech. The team released former Alabama corner John Fulton.

As expected, the Eagles brought back wide receiver Arrelious Benn, who was released last week. Benn, originally scheduled to make $1 million this year after missing last season following ACL surgery, presumably will make closer to the $730,000 veteran minimum salary for a player with 4 years' experience.

Barwin Benefit

Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin's Make The World Better Foundation (MTWB), will hold its inaugural benefit concert at Union Transfer on June 20.

"By partnering with Union Transfer and musicians Kurt Vile, The Tontons and The Districts, we hope to bring together the local athletic and artistic communities in order to bring about positive change for the children of our city," Barwin said in a press release.

All proceeds from the concert will be donated and matched by MTWB for the revitalization project at Ralph Brooks Park in South Philadelphia.
