Jason Babin continues to jab the Eagles from afar, and this time his comments were directed toward the organization's view of him and ousted defensive line coach Jim Washburn.

The Eagles signed Babin to a five-year, $28 million contract in 2011 and waived him Nov. 27, citing the desire to play younger players. On Wednesday he praised the Jacksonville Jaguars, who claimed him off waivers, and implied that the Eagles thought no one wanted him.

"That was probably their approach because they don't have amicable splits with people," Babin said during a conference call with Tennessee reporters. "You saw how dirty they did [Washburn] with leaking out the false stories and the way they talked about him on the way out. It's kind of a big socialistic system that they have. I didn't really care."

Babin and Washburn both came to the Eagles from the Tennessee Titans, and both had big personalities. Babin thought the Eagles should have known how he operated and Washburn's reputation before bringing them to Philadelphia.

"They have a different approach and a different style than I do," Babin said. "It's upsetting because they knew what they were getting when they hired me. But I don't know if they were going to try and change me."
