Cox and Reynolds start against Cowboys

Cox missed practice Wednesday because of a bruised tailbone and was absent Thursday and Friday because of a death in his family. Cox rejoined the team in North Texas on Saturday. He left the game in the second quarter after he reinjured his tailbone. Cox was taken to the locker room for examination but started the second half.
Reynolds was sidelined on Wednesday and Thursday with a sprained ankle. He returned to practice Friday and was healthy enough to keep his starting spot. That meant Evan Mathis stayed at left guard, and Danny Watkins continued to sit on the bench.
Jake Scott started at right guard for the third straight game.
Record return
Damaris Johnson's 98-yard punt return touchdown was the longest in Eagles history, topping Vai Sikahema's 87-yarder on Nov. 22, 1992, at the Giants.
According to Pro Football Reference, it tied for the third-longest punt return in NFL history. Johnson's 234 punt-return yards this season are the fourth-highest total by an Eagles rookie.
Mudd to retire
Offensive line coach Howard Mudd confirmed last week that he will retire at the end of the season. Mudd was persuaded by Eagles coach Andy Reid to come out of retirement before last season, and his offensive line played well in 2011.
But injuries have made this season more difficult, and Mudd, 71, said he is looking to spend more time with his family.
Romo passes Aikman
Tony Romo set a Cowboys record with his 166th touchdown pass, surpassing Hall of Famer Troy Aikman.
Romo fired a 23-yard scoring pass to Dez Bryant in the third quarter to set the record in his 89th career start.
Aikman started 165 games for the Cowboys from 1989 to 2000.
Eagles dress 4 receivers
The Eagles deactivated wide receivers Greg Salas and Marvin McNutt, meaning the team dressed just four receivers. McNutt was promoted from the practice squad on Friday and Salas signed last week.
