Another endorsement deal for Vick

Michael Vick bagged another endorsement deal when he signed a contract Wednesday with Fuse Science, a company that develops nutritional vitamins and minerals for athletes.

The Eagles quarterback also became an equity partner in Double Eagle Holdings Ltd., the parent company of Fuse Science.

"He's a changed man," Fuse Science CEO Adam Adler told the Associated Press. "As part of that change, he's becoming a businessman and not just a football player. He's the hungriest athlete. He's the best athlete in any sport, and it was a no-brainer to bring Michael in and build around him."

Vick was taken back into the Nike fold earlier this month after the swoosh dropped him nearly four years ago. He lost all his endorsement deals in 2007 when he was convicted on dogfighting charges.

After serving 18 months in a federal prison, Vick returned to the NFL but did not pick up another endorsement until January, when he signed with Unequal Technologies, a company that produces football pads.

Vick's outstanding 2010 season, in which he led the Eagles to the NFC East crown and was named AP comeback player of the year, has won over some companies willing to let him hawk their products.
