At Temple: Started 43 of 49 games and made 299 tackles in his career, 11th-most in school history . . . Was a team captain and the Owls' 2010 MVP . . . Was a first-team All-America selection by Pro Football Weekly as a senior.

Strong endorsement: Al Golden, his coach at Temple, called Jarrett one of the finest tacklers he'd ever seen.

Agility tests: 4.69 in the 40-yard dash . . . 30-inch vertical leap . . . 9-foot, 5-inch broad jump . . . Bench pressed 225 pounds 14 times.

Did you know? Jarrett is just the sixth Temple player ever drafted by the Eagles and the first since the Birds took Raheem Brock in the 7th round in 2002.
