Eagles' Bradley out; Graham heading to IR

While middle linebacker Stewart Bradley will not be going on injured reserve, rookie defensive end Brandon Graham will be.

The first-round pick tore the ACL in his right knee against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night and is done for the season.

He will have surgery within the next couple of weeks.

"It's a tough thing," coach Andy Reid said. "It's not an easy thing to do. Now, he has a positive outlook on it and he just wants to get done what needs to get done and then get the rehab going and get back . . .

"You don't quite know what to expect and you have to put a lot of trust in the trainer and in the doctor because they're bending that knee in positions that it doesn't want to be bent in, and that doesn't feel real good. But listen, he's a tough kid, he'll work through it and he'll be back. He's upbeat at this point."

Graham had three sacks and had been rotating at left end with starter Juqua Parker. Parker returned to the lineup Sunday after missing the previous two games with a hip pointer. He'll take the lion's share of the reps now, with Darryl Tapp and rookie Daniel Te'o-Nesheim giving him an occasional breather.

The Eagles also are expected to sign a defensive end to replace Graham on the 53-man roster. Reid said on his weekly radio show that they have had discussions about potential players but have not made a decision.

Choice words

The fallout from Cowboys running back Tashard Choice getting an autograph from Michael Vick at the end of the game continued.

Choice said after the game on Twitter that the autograph was for his 3-year-old nephew. He then issued an apology yesterday: "If it's anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me. I apologize to the people it was just an innocent gesture for my nephew."
