You Talkin' to Me? Talking about the conference title games

From: Gonzalez, John To: Ford, Bob; Fox, Ashley Subject: Championship Sunday The AFC and NFC Championship games are upon us. Good matchups both. What do you expect to see in the two contests today? And who advances to the Super Bowl?

I can't wait to watch Darrelle Revis on Reggie Wayne. Revis has shut down every big-name receiver he's faced this season. If he can take away Peyton Manning's biggest toy, and the Jets can get some pressure, they'll have a chance. But ultimately I don't see the rookie QB being able to take his team to the Bowl.

In the NFC, it'll be offense, offense, offense. The Who Dats might set the Quarter on fire after they win.

Yeah, Wayne actually got open a few times during the last meeting between the teams. Strangely, Manning missed him. Should be interesting to see how it goes this time around.

Love Who Dat Nation. They're passionate, and they deserve a reward after watching so many years of terrible football.

Sorry, I'm late. I've been out working on my new project, which is to make drivers more aware of what they are doing while they are driving. I call my project Awareness Awareness. I'm going to get one of those magnetic ribbons to put on my car. Haven't decided on a color yet. All the good ones are taken.

Anyway, I think the Saints are going to mess up Brett Favre, so I like them, too, but I have this feeling the Colts are going to have trouble with the Jets.

A Colts-Saints Super Bowl will be fun. Colts 17, Jets 13. Saints 35, Vikings 24.

Agreed. I'm excited about any combination of these teams reaching the Super Bowl, but I also think it'll be New Orleans vs. Indy.

I'll take the Colts to win, but not to cover. Call it 21-14. And I like the Saints to reach their first Super Bowl in a high-scoring game, 35-28.

I'll take a New Orleans-New York Super Bowl, if only to hear the anguished moans of Giants fans coming from up the turnpike. OK, for amusement purposes, make mine New Orleans 33-17, and the Jets, 24-21.
