Just ask cornerback Asante Samuel, who spent five seasons with Belichick before signing with the Eagles in February.
"You know Bill doesn't have a personality," Samuel said after he practiced for the third straight day and talked for the first time at training camp. "So Andy wins that."
Some would argue that Reid is also lacking in the personality department.
"Not much," Samuel said. "But Bill doesn't give you anything."
Samuel certainly has respect for Reid.
"He's led this team to a Super Bowl, went to the NFC championship a couple times, so he definitely knows what he's doing and he's put a good program together," he said.
Special-teams coordinator Rory Segrest was asked why the Eagles are counting on Booker to return kicks, which is something he has not done in the past, even in college at Florida State.
"We feel like we've got a few guys who can get it done," Segrest said. "We brought Booker in. We brought Jamal Jones in, who's another good kick returner there. Of course, we've got J.R. [Reed] and we've got Buck [Correll Buckhalter]. DeSean is going to get some kick returns at some point."
Offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said he needs to get the five some repetitions in practice soon. Andrews is expected back on the field Saturday when practice resumes at the NovaCare Complex.
"That's important, having all five guys playing together with many reps, because it's critical that they play well together as a unit," Mornhinweg said.
