* The Cowboys were the first team to score more than 21 points against the Eagles this season. The Cowboys' five touchdowns were just three fewer than the defense had allowed in their first seven games.

* The Eagles went into the game ranked second in the league in red-zone defense. They had given up just seven touchdowns in 24 red-zone tests. The Cowboys gashed them for four touchdowns on five red-zone trips.

* Donovan McNabb is averaging just one touchdown every 32.0 attempts this season. That's the worst touchdown ratio of his career. In 2003, he averaged one every 29.9 attempts.

* Brian Westbrook hasn't lost a fumble in 473 touches. His last lost fumble came in the Eagles' 27-24, Week 6 loss to New Orleans last season.

* The Eagles have 204 rushing attempts in 521 offensive plays this season (39.1 percent). Through eight games last year, they had 189 in 488 plays (38.7).

* Darren Howard doesn't have any sacks this season. He hasn't had a sack in his last 11 games and just one in his last 16.

* The Eagles failed to register a sack for the first time this season. They've got 24 in eight games, none by their linebacking corps. In their last 40 regular-season games, they've gotten just four sacks from the linebacker position.

* The Cowboys' two rushing touchdowns were as many as the Eagles had given up all season.
