This Eagles-Panthers game will go down as one of the worst matchups ever — records-wise — on “Monday Night Football.’’

Only twice in the series’ long history have two teams (with a minimum of 20 decisions between them) come into a MNF contest with worse combined records. (This will be the 236th MNF game that meets the 20-decision criteria.)

(Special mention goes to the Oct. 15, 2001 Cowboys-Redskins game, where both teams entered with 0-4 records. The Cowboys eked out a 9-7 win at home.)
