In all likliehood, the Andy Reid era in Philadelphia will come to an end some time between now and the Super Bowl.

Many will likely chase the most-tenured coach in the NFL right out of town, but shouldn't we stop for a second to remember all the good things he has done for the city and its football team? Division titles, an NFC Championship, and a list of memorable quotes that could fill an entire play sheet.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - We're losing out on great comedy when he goes. At least we will have a winning team.

    Missed some:
A roast Pork sandwich exceeds my Super Bowl asperations.
I have always wanted to enter Nathans hot dog eating contest, but football always got in the way.
When I was a kid I ate an entire side of the Thanksgiving Turkey, I have never been able to dupolicate that feat.
Philly has one of the worst football teams ever and some of the best sandwiches in the universe.
    I never met a bucket of the Colonel's chicken I couldn't defeat.

All the Dopey 30 type Reid HATERS (Philly "sports" media, low I.Q. fan base, WIP lemmings) will miss Andy when our team is in the throws of rebuilding for the next few years. 6 NFC East titles, 5 NFC Championship games, a Super Bowl appearance....we've been relevant for a decade and a half under Coach Reid. Everyone wants that Lombardi, but the low IQ fan base & lower IQ media need a dose of perspective. Andy is the Eagles' greatest coach.

Since you are the truthteller, we are just starting rebuilding but we need to do so with a new coach. We appreciate all that Andy Reid ( has done for the Eagles organization and fan base winningest coach in Eagles history)but he has lost this team. The players are loyal to Andy Reid right up to the point where they have to do their jobs better. They won't because they know they are not going to finish better than 8-8 so why play hard for a guy on the way out? Have you seen this team fight back from double digit deficit AND win a game yet this season because I haven't. I've seen them roll over and play dead right from the jump and I've seen them do it late. It's time for him to go and unfortunately he is going out a loser. That's the ugly truth.

Oh come on, dude. A) Jim Johnson B) McNabb's first three years running the ball C) in Andy's first four-five seasons as head coach, the NFC East was a coaching turnstile...he benefitted from a sh*tty division D) You didn't mention anything about Super Bowl rings in your little rant and E) Andy Reidn's record against WINNING coaches is abyssmal. Look it up. Sure, they were good, they were very good and it was fun. But his statistics are such a surface argument against a guy who wasted the careers of Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook. Pass, pass, pass?! WHY?! McNabb was a MOBILE QUARTER BACK!!! Just like VICK!!! Why change them? Why make an offensive line coach your f**king DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR?! Why PERPETUALLY WASTE TIME OUTS and then LOSE to the clock?? the man can't ever best a decent coach. EVER. How about that great move forcing Vick to pass 80% of the game against a 29th ranked Green Bay run defense in the playoffs a few years ago?! That was classic. And benching DJax against the Cards last year when they absolutely had to win and, in the same game, allowing a ROOKIE TO COVER FITZGERALD in the 4th quarter? WITH A CARDINALS THRID STRING QB?! Or making Vince Young throw 75% of the first half against Seattle a week later with McCoy waiting till the second half to have his best rushing game??! Low IQ???? Check yourself in the mirror there, stats guy. Stats are a sugar coating to a non-winning coach who peaked when the division got better. Period.

With all the rebuilding needed, not to mention salary cap issues, we will see the Eagles in the playoffs again in about 3 years. My guess is that fans think this is all going to get better as soon as Reid leaves, but Reid will win a Super Bowl (somewhere else) long before the Eagles are in one again.

All the dopey media types bash Andy unmercifully, due to his lack of revealing answers and not wanting to throw players under the proverbial bus. If they had a brain, which most don't, instead of trying to twist the stats to fit their narrative, READ BETWEEN THE LINES, Andy is so easy to figure out....after 14 years!
Watching yesterday's games, with all the coaching, time management etc blunders between Schwartz & Garrett....how unmerciful would our media be? The problem is the Cataldi's, Missinell's, McLane's & Sheridan's don't know blink about football. And all the angry union-worker fans need someone other than their wives to hate on Sundays! I like PSU's coach....a Yale-educated Belichick guy & how about Polian as our new GM? Is Jeffrey listening???

Funny you would reference two coaches that are also on the hot seat in Schwartz and Garrett. Andy has made those same boneheaded mistakes. Why not add Rex Ryan to the mix. Here's a team that regressed faster than the Eagles.

TruthTeller01, you forget to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth: NO, that is NO Super Bowl Wins.

"Times yours, but that pork sandwich over there is mine!"

Great metaphoric analogy: Andy next to a Rhesus monkey with the
little geometric pieces to be put in their proper adjoining
places while the money figures out a triangle will not fit in
the circle slot after 14 minutes, grabs the circle and finishes
thus winning his banana reward, meanwhile 14 YEARS later, Reid is
still trying to force the triangle into the circle slot, and
reassuring us and the media HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING???

Simple fact: Reid would rather lose his way then taking sound advice
    from others and winning!

The thing I really laugh at when I read the comments of know-nothing fans is that they hate Reid so much but expect his successor to have equal or better success which is not at all a guarantee. This whole situation reminds me of the Bucs and Tony Dungy except Gruden ain't coming dreamers! And when Reid wins his bowl in San Diego (like Dungy won in Indy) you'll be crying and replacing the "Andy" with the new coache's name on your classic and idiotic "Fire Andy" t-shirts hahaha

To the people that support Reid, haven't you seen enough? Andy WAS a good coach at one time.Don't you want to experience a SuperBowl win? If so, you have to at least recognize that it just isn't going to happen with Reid coaching this team, that window closed a few years ago.Look at how many coaches have won the SB in the time that he's been the coach with fewer years of experience.
