Vick denies report of friction with assistant coaches
Marc Narducci
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick denied a report by Yahoo Sports that said he believed some of the Eagles assistant coaches were pushing to have him benched.
Vick did have a meeting with coach Andy Reid, but said after Saturday’s practice, that he never complained about the assistant coaches.
“That is absolutely false,” Vick said. “Coach and I never had that conversation. Everything we talked about in that room is personal, man to man.”
Then for emphasis, Vick added, “That never came up.”
Vick then praised the Eagles coaching staff.
“All my coaches do a great job of getting me prepared, put me in the best position possible and I have nothing but the utmost respect and they know that without me having to say it on camera.”

This team is almost as bas as when I was a kid 40 years ago...we will be back to being the bengals and browns very shortly Friend to All
Agree with friend...this wannabee team takes me back to the Mike McCormick days of no discipline, poor game plan, and no signs of life on the field. Guys dancing like they just won the Super Bowl after a routine catch or when someone makes a simple tackle. It's hard to believe.. outta work
The coaches can't bench Vick. The coaches are totally compromised when it comes to Vick because the Bros all have his back. Bench Vick and the mutiny begins, it will be time to blind fold Reid and walk him out on the plank. That is why he is the COACH KILLER. Lets Eat
