I dont see how anyone believes in VICK. Guy is the worst QB in the NFL. One good year in his entire career was a fluke and now he looks worse and slower than ever before. The entire Eagles offense is overrated and undersized. No heart at all with this team. It certainly looks like the Eagles are in serious trouble over the next 10-15 years not that I was expecting much anyway. Eagles are the worst team this city has.

The birds did not lose because of Vick, they lost because of bad defense at the end of the game. We had the game in the bag, all we had to do is stop them (The Steelers) from moving the ball close to field goal range. Also I believe Vick is not receiving good enough coverage at all. The team having confidense on Vick is not the question, does Vick have confidense on the offensive line is the question.

You're blaming the defense for giving up 16pts and a game winning drive to a guy who's won 2 Super Bowls. That 16 points was the lowest total Ben has ever put up at home. These Vick apologists are crazy, Vick hangs his O line out to dry on every play. If the Defense had held on the last drive, we would have won another game in which Vick did everything he could for 3 quarters to blow it. These late game winning drives by him are great when they stand alone, but not judging his other 55 minutes of play is ludicrous.

actually they held the steelers to 13 points until the game winning field goal id say that was a damn good job by our D. if vick doesnt fumble and he scores the steelers need more than a field goal to beat us in the end but yeah its always the D's fault or the O lines fault vick cant do no wrong he is the best qb ever to play the game. EVER lol

I love how people will still blame the D and OL for this loss and Vick's problems this year. As jtj06 below pointed out, this is not a problem of the here and now, but rather a problem that has been in place since in inception. Vick was truly lucky that defenses were dropping so many INT's early that year. This offense has not been nearly as explosive as it was since that one game against the Redskins, that quite frankly got him that $100 million dollar contract. At the end of the day, Vick was only given enough money by the Eagles to help put a serious dent into his bankruptcy case and basically given the opportunity to earn the remainder of that contract if his play could warrant it. Obviously his play has been far from what is expected to even possibly think he will be around for another season, which could only be hampering his play even more, as he truly does feel the fight for his life this season. Perhaps someone should examine that aspect as to why Vick's play has been so mentally deficient this season, as he's worried he HAS to make the spectacular happen just to be given a chance at one more season, earning the type of money he would like, and in the type of role he likes, ie STARTING QB. Vick's play this year warrants him less time than Tim Teabow quite frankly. And don't even get started on how over paid he currently is. CLEARLY this has to be making an impact on his mental state during these games. Just a thought.

I agree with the poster who said we could easily be 1-4 with
a couple of other Vick turnovers being recovered by the Eagles
and a very stout D (yeah I know they folded against Big Ben
but he has done that to a lot of Ds, he truly is an ELITE QB
and Mike Tomlin is an elite coach, like John Lynch, said of
Tomlin, "the smartest football mind I was ever around, even
though he was just a few years older than me." Mike knows how
to adjust, Fatty Reid can't adjust if his life depended on it!

No, I don't trust Vick, he has LOOKED lost and confused since
preseason and at this point we aren't going anywhere with
him anyway, so why not try Foles or Edwards???

You change your game plan around with Foles or Edwards to
a heavy dose of Shadey McCoy, they will be as effective and
    without all the turnovers!

Vick is going to get hurt eventually - Foles will have a chance. In the meantime he still gives you the best chance to win.

Reid and the Eagles got fooled in 2010. Go back and watch Vick's first start against Detroit in 2010. He threw at least 5 balls to Lion defenders that were dropped. That game stood out but in general, Vick had 6 games where the bounces were all going his way- which happens some times, it's only a month and a half. Anyone with a brain knows that if you ask Vick to pass a lot, you are going to have a lot of turnovers. Since that 6 game streak of good breaks Vick had 26 INTs in 23 games.

You folks that like Vick must like to finish 2nd all the time. 2nd is only good if your record is good enough for a Wild Card slot.

This Team should be 0-5.....an average of 5 Points per Game scored...in the First-Half of all 5 Games this Year.....Offense is Scoring 14 Pts. per Game......and Leading the NFL in Turnovers....on the other hand.....they could not possibly Play Worse than they have....so MAYBE we will see some Improvement????????????????

The Eagles can solve the Vick turn over problem by solving the Offensive Line problems. Chances are really good stop Vick from getting mauled behind that line and you can stop the fumbles. He's less likely to fumble if he is not getting creamed by pass rushers. Ben not one time Sunday was forced to get up off the turf as opposed to Vick constantly having to get up after getting hit.

Dexter you watching the same game? The famous fumble on the one was was not an oline issue, it was a qb draw. He was saved on another fumble when he dove, the ball came out, and he was ruled touched. Big Ben has been sacked more than anyone in football the last 3 years. His line is terrible.
