Vick is better than Foles! Want to know how I know? cause Vick is starting and Foles is not. If Foles WAS better, then Reid would play him. Reference the Kolb switch. Vick will continue to play as long as there is a chance for the post-season/Super Bowl run. Playing Foles will essentially mean giving up on the season. Weather anyone wants to admit or not, the Eagles are strong contenders. The Giants can't beat the Eagles, Redskins aren't ready yet, and the Cowgirls SUCK! In the playoffs anything can happen. NO ONE thought the Giants could be the Pats once, let alone twice. So stop reacting like you think that your opinions matter to Reid or the Eagles at all. Then, root for your team! If it's that unbearable to root for the Eagles' success, then root for the Jets or something.

This is the NFL. Vick is the starting QB because you don't pay a guy 40 million guranteed and then bench him after a few poor games for a rookie. That being said the 2 losses are on Vick. He cannot continue to turn the ball over. I root all the time, but I also know reality. Teams with negative turnover ratios do not win super bowls. Thankfully the defense is playing lights out.

Eagles are never going to get to the Superbowl with Vick. He sucks and is a poor excuse for a human being. Can't wait until he is out of Phila... should not be much longer. Don't get too comfortable in your new house Mike!!

The turnover problem will never be fixed b/c the problem is with Vick. He leads the NFL in fumbles...the team has committed 52 turnovers in 21 games. When you look at film as Ray Didinger pointed out..Vick is not making the correct reads. He threw into double coverage when Celek and Jackson were wide open. We have a "veteren" QB not making the correct reads ON TOP of turning it over. Just stop with him. Andy I have an idea...you and mike get out of philly and you can adopt him as your son. Maybe you can save Mike.

Their was one play in particular that tells you everything. I was watching Troy P, he came down close to the line, then back pedaled way back. I mean like Tampa 2 deep, he was 25-30 yds away from the line of scrimmage before vick even snapped the ball. It was a 1st down play and i'm screaming just check to a run... check it to a run mike... What does Mike do? He throws a bomb into double coverage that had zero chance of working. Read the coverage Mike!!! This is basic stuff that a rookie qb can see and Mike either doesn't see it or he doesn't care.

He was never good, stop expecting a 32 year old quarterback to learn, progress or fix flaws. This is what he has been his entire career only now he is getting slower as he gets older. With the exception of 3 games against bad teams a few years back that netted him that ridiculous contract, he has been the same player.

I can stand losing. I can deal with other teams having better talent. I cannot stomach, however, the refusal of the player and the coach to change their ways. Andy, if Vick cannot be the QB he was in 2010 when he listened to his coaches then SIT HIM DOWN. He refuses to slide feet first. He refuses to check down receivers. His "things happen" approach to his inability to protect the ball is infuriating. It's time for a new approach.

Trust is the key word. He very well may be able to suppress the turnovers for awhile. But the propensity to turn the ball over is in his DNA. The chances of him going through 3-4 playoff games without the monster within him returning are very slim.

Ultimately it is hard to argue with those that say Vick will not lead the birds to a super bowl... There is simply nothing in his play over the years on which to base an argument that change is inthe offing.

McLane makes some pretty good points in this "interview," but I'm not buying the argument that the eagles need a "fast break" offense in order to take advantage of their weapons... Last year they had both Kelce and Peters, and I don't recall the downfield, air-it-out approach being all that successful. I think it still comes down to balance and executing an efficient passing game that takes shots downfield when they're there...

Unfortunately, I was a huge Vick apologist, but can no longer stand it. It's become so painfully obvious that Vick cannot successfully run a balanced offense that REQUIRES short passes on 3 and 5 step drops. The only option at this point to correct this offense is to get Foles ready and see if he can do it. FOLES IS THE ONLY CHANCE AT A SUPERBOWL RUN IN PHILLY. And this is coming from a black man. Now, the reason I say this is not because I think Foles will take us all the way to the Superbowl this season, but Reid MUST know if he truly has a QB with which he can truly build his team around. Even if Foles is a stud at QB, the team is still not winning a Superbowl this year, as they still need a TRUE defensive playmaker in the form of a Brian Dawkins, JJ Watt type of player. Someone who EVERY team has to account for. Only way we can get one is to know if we have a QB of the future, because if Foles is not that man, then quite frankly, we'll be waiting for at least a few years until we find that player, as our number one pick will almost assuredly have to be for a franchise QB, and if it's Reid making the pick, we just know he's going to go after Geno Smith from WVU, as EVERYONE knows Reid HAS to draft the Black Guy to be his QB, and as a black man, I find that very offensive. It speaks of how the owner truly doesn't care about winning but rather selling the most jerseys and filling up the stadium. I mean, c'mon, can anyone REALLY say it's a coincidence that the team has found a way to keep so many Black QB's around in one of the country's cities with one of the largest percentages of AA citizens. And of course EVERY black person is going to rally to support the Black QB to the peril of the franchise. NO LONGER. THIS TREND MUST STOP, AND IT MUST STOP NOW!!!

You have to understand if you bench or trade Vick you also have to get rid of Reid.

Everyone thinks that Reid is a great QB coach! Well lets see Is McNabb going to the Hall? Kolb is he a very good QB?, Is Vick better now then when he was with Atlanta?

Reid is a QB killer if anything! Start Foles get rid of Reid and Vick when you do.
