Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin did not practice again Friday, but both players were listed as questionable for Sunday night's game at the New York Giants.

Even though Eagles coach Andy Reid did not rule out either player the likelihood of Vick or Maclin playing is very slim. That means Vince Young will start at quarterback for the first time as an Eagle.

"In my mind definitely," Young said, "but you still have to check with Andy."

Vick has broken ribs and hasn't practiced all week. Reid said that Vick has never started without practicing at all the week prior. Maclin has shoulder and hamstring injuries and will be replaced at wide receiver by either Riley Cooper or Steve Smith if he can't go.

"Even though [Vick and Maclin] didn't practice they're far enough along to where I feel comfortable with them playing," Reid said.

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (high ankle sprain) and reserve offensive lineman King Dunalp (concussion) were ruled out. Reid said defensive end Brandon Graham had a rib contusion that started bothering him on Thursday. He is listed as questionable.

Guard Evan Mathis (turf toe) and safety Nate Allen (concussion) are probable.

FROM EARLIER:

Michael Vick was not present for the start of Friday's practice so all signs point to Vince Young making his first start at quarterback for the Eagles.

Young and Mike Kafka were the only quarterbacks warming up in the early portion of practice. The Eagles have tried to paint the picture that Young and Kafka have been splitting repetitions with the first team offense all week, but Young has taken all the snaps.

Even if Vick feels better by Sunday when the Eagles travel to New York to face the Giants, it is unlikely the team will throw him out there without the benefit of a week of practice. If Young does start it will be his first since November of last year with the Titans. He has 30-17 mark in 47 career regular season starts.

He could be without one of the Eagles' top receivers. Jeremy Maclin, who has shoulder and hamstring injuries, was also not practicing. He hasn't practiced all week. Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (high ankle sprain) and offensive lineman King Dunlap (concussion) were not at practice.

Eagles coach Andy Reid will have the official injury report after practice, although it isn't expected that he will provide a clearer picture on his quarterback situation.
