Well the series is over and I have Eddie our eight foot Philadelphia "EGGL" inflated and looking good on our Connecticut lawn. All the Giants, Jets and Pats fans drive by and give Eddie the finger and I just turn up the volume on "Fly Eagles Fly" on the outdoor "look like rocks" speakers. Beat Dallas so I can leave him up all week.

It is so special to be back together again. I can't tell you how much I missed you, John, and of course Bobby. Brookie kept talking about somersaults and McLane was all into the worm and break- dancing. It wasn't pretty. At least with you guys I know I don't have to work so hard to carry the conversation. Oh, wait . . .
I think it's a bit of a struggle, but the Eagles get the W tonight. It won't be 44-6, but probably something closer to 28-24. The Eagles rattle Romo in the end, take command of the NFC East, and move into perfect position at 6-2 heading into the turn.

Crazy season for the NFC East. Three weeks ago, I would have laughed at the idea of the 'Boys and Birds battling for division supremacy - especially after the Eagles crashed out in Oakland. I think you're right. Huge fight tonight, but I like the Eagles' chances - particularly because Tony Romo is an abject disaster in big games on national TV, and this is one of those.
He's no Bob Ford, I'll tell you that. You should have seen Buttons in New York, Ash. Bright lights and the big city don't scare him. He was double-fisting Nathan's hot dogs and still making deadline with time to spare.

My favorite Series moment was after Game 6: I'm watching the street scene and there's a cop standing there. Car goes down the street with radio blaring and kids riding on top of the roof. I said, "Hey, isn't that against the law?" And the cop said, "There are no laws in the Bronx."
OK, Series is over. I didn't go to Elaine's once, and that's a victory even if the Phils couldn't get one.
As for the Birds, I was sure they were in a bad spot last week without Westbrook and it didn't turn out that way. Looking at this one, I think the Cowboys are a little overrated after being a little underrated. They are a biorhythms team and are due for a trough.
Eagles win this one. I think a little lower-scoring, something like 17-10 or 17-13 in favor of the Birds. Over-under on "Romo Sucks" cheers is 125.
