About Marquette: The Golden Eagles picked up their first Big East road victory on Saturday by upsetting No. 7 Creighton, 102-94, in Omaha. Reinhardt led seven players in double figures with 21 points and Fischer added 18 plus six blocked shots. . . . Fischer has more offensive rebounds (56) than defensive rebounds (55). . . . Howard, who led Marquette with 21 points in the first meeting against Villanova, leads the conference in three-point percentage (50.6 percent) and free-throw shooting (94.9 percent). . . . As a team, the Golden Eagles lead the Big East making 41.7 percent of their three-point attempts and 79.9 percent of their free throws, and also with 10.2 made threes per game.

About Villanova: The Wildcats need a win Tuesday night to match their best-ever record after 21 games, which was set during the 2009-10 season. . . . They shot 51.7 percent from the field in Saturday's 78-68 win over Providence at the Wells Fargo Center. They held the Friars to 37.5 percent shooting from inside the three-point arc, but the visitors connected on 13 of 26 three-point attempts. The number of threes by an opponent was second this season only to the 14 that Marquette made against the Cats on Jan. 7. . . . Hart continues to lead the Big East in scoring after his 25-point performance Saturday. . . . The two-man 'Nova bench scored just two points on Saturday, and Paschall played just 10 minutes because of foul trouble.
