Villanova update: Talley is going for his 200th career victory in 30 seasons combined at Villanova and St. Lawrence (N.Y.). The Wildcats have won 12 of their last 14 CAA games. Villanova is ranked second in the conference in turnover margin at plus-11. And the Wildcats boast the nation's 11th-ranked rushing offense at 204.57 yards per game.

Rhode Island preview: Trainer was a Villanova assistant coach from 1997 to 2004. The Rams are giving up 33.7 points a game. Their offensive leader is junior quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne, who has thrown for 677 yards and three touchdowns, with four interceptions. Sophomore Tyquan Bynum (279 yards) of Lancaster and senior Shawn Leonard (248) are his top targets.
