Villanova will play Georgetown, Marquette, and West Virginia twice each during the 2009-10 season, according to the Big East Conference schedule matchups announced yesterday.
In addition to their home-and-home games against those three opponents, the Wildcats will play Connecticut, DePaul, Notre Dame, Providence, Seton Hall, and South Florida at home, and Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, St. John's, and Syracuse on the road in the coming season.
Rutgers will play DePaul, Georgetown and Seton Hall in home-and-home games. The Scarlet Knights also will play home games against Cincinnati, Connecticut, Notre Dame, St. John's, Syracuse, and Villanova.
Their other conference road opponents will be Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, South Florida, and West Virginia.
The Big East will play an 18-game schedule for the third consecutive season. Each team will play three opponents twice each and face the other 12 teams once each.
The full conference schedule will be announced later.
