Hempfield grad might be sleeper among Temple football recruits
The Owls' latest commitment comes from a freakish athlete who could play a variety of positions.
David Martin-Robinson, of Hempfield High in Landisville, Pa., may be a true sleeper among Temple football recruits.
Martin-Robinson announced his decision recently on Twitter.
According to a person familiar with Temple recruiting, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Martin-Robinson intrigued the coaching staff with his athletic ability. That is one reason he is being listed as an "athlete" until the coaching staff determines his position. He is best at wide receiver but could also be used at tight end, linebacker or safety.
Martin-Robinson brings the total to 14 commitments for the Class of 2018.
Recruits can't visit campus until July 10 in accordance with NCAA rules, and a Temple source said that Aaron Jarman, a tight end from North Lenoir High School in LaGrange, N.C., is expected to visit.
