WEST POINT, NY – Quarterback Frank Nutile will be making his first career start for Temple in today's game at Michie Stadium against Army.

Redshirt sophomore Logan Marchi, who started the first seven games for the 3-4 Owls, was hobbling this week and missed the portion of practice on Tuesday that the media was able to view.

Marchi, participated in pre-game warmups, but is banged up. He will be the holder on field goals and PATs and would likely only play QB in an emergency.

A redshirt junior, Nutile has made two appearances this year and has completed 6 of 14 passes for 80 yards and an interception. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound product of New Jersey power Don Bosco Prep, entered this season.

Nutile's most extensive time came during Temple's 43-7 loss at South Florida when he relieved Marchi and completed 4 of 12 passes for 57 yards and an interception. In that game Marchi threw three interceptions.

The offensive line is also banged up. Center Matt Hennessy, who started the first seven games, didn't make the trip due to injury. Left tackle Leon Johnson is dressed, but still hampered by an ankle injury and won't start.

Here is the starting offensive line: left tackle, James McHale; left guard Jaelin Robinson, center Gordon Thomas, right guard, Adrian Sullivan and right tackle Cole Boozer.

Vincent Picozzi, who started the last two games at left guard is dressed, but not starting due to injury.

In addition, defensive lineman Michael Dogbe is out with injury.

Army (5-2) enters with a three-game win streak after last week's 28-27 victory over Central Michigan.
