Temple will have had a week off since losing last Sunday, 80-59, at home to Houston.

Last meeting: The Owls shot just 4 for 22 from three-point range and attempted just one free throw in a 60-39 loss at Central Florida on Jan. 7.

The latest: The Knights will be without 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall, who played in the first Temple game but is out for the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn labrum. … Despite 26 points from guard B.J. Taylor, UCF lost, 70-61, Wednesday at Tulsa, snapping the Knights' three-game winning streak. … Taylor, a 6-2 redshirt junior, missed the first part of the season with a foot injury and is averaging 15.1 points in 11 games. … Temple has lost two in a row, including Sunday's 80-59 setback to visiting Houston in a game in which the Cougars scored the first 15 points and were never seriously threatened. … The Owls have allowed an average of 86.5 points in their last two losses, to Houston and Wichita State. … Temple sophomore swingman Quinton Rose averages a team-high 14.9 points. … After Sunday, the Owls will close their regular season with games at UConn and Tulsa.
