Milford Academy linebacker walks on at Temple

Shane Nastahowski, a former linebacker at Milford Academy (N.Y.), will walk on at Temple.

The 6-foot-1, 221-pounder broke the news on his Facebook page Wednesday, posting: “officially a temple owl!!! Heading out next Sunday.”

Nastahowski graduated from Greenwich High in Connecticut in 2012. But he played a post-graduate season at Milford this past fall after not receiving a potential scholarship offer from Akron.

He finished this past season with 60 tackles, an interception, a sack and two fumble recoveries in nine games.
