Fernandez is Big Five player of the week

Temple's Juan Fernandez was named the Big Five men's basketball player of the week on Monday.

The senior point guard averaged 18 points, five assists and three steals in the Owls victories over St. Bonaventure and Duquesne. His best performance came Saturday against the Dukes. That's when Fernandez made six 3-pointers to finish with 20 points.
