Wednesday, 7 p.m., Hagan Arena

Records: St. Bonaventure, 13-6 overall, 5-3 Atlantic 10; St. Joseph's, 18-3, 7-1.

On St. Bonaventure: Senior forward Dion Wright, senior guard Marcus Posley and sophomore guard Jaylen Adams are averaging a combined 53.4 points per game, the second highest trio in the A-10.

On St. Joseph's: The Hawks have won seven consecutive games and have allowed an average of 61.1 points per game during that span. A win over St. Bonaventure would be the Hawks' longest streak since winning eight consecutive games in February 2006.

Insights

The Hawks have to give special attention to Posley, who is averaging 29 points in his last three games. . . . St. Bonaventure is fourth in the A-10 in three-point field goal percentage, while St. Joseph's is first in three-point defense (.290). So, which ever team is closer to its average will likely win. . . . Hawks junior forward DeAndre' Bembry, a candidate for A-10 player of the year, continues to play unselfishly. He has averaged just 13.3 shots in his last three games, although he could be shooting more against the Bonnies, who are averaging 77.8 points and like to play a transition game. . . . St. Joseph's forward Isaiah Miles is a 41.2 percent three-point shooter but is just 2 of 9 in his last three games. So look for the Hawks to get him some more three-point opportunities early in the game. . . . A key will be keeping Wright off the boards. He averages 9.2. rebounds per game. . . . St. Bonnies' high scoring trio of Adams, Wright and Posley are all averaging more than 35 minutes per game, so the Hawks should attack them and make them work as hard on defense as on the offensive end.
