Purdue's Isaac Haas to miss the rest of March Madness with elbow injury

Isaac Haas, one of Purdue’s best big men will miss the rest of the NCAA Tournament with a fractured right elbow, according to Boilermakers coach Matt Painter.

The 7-foot-2 center averaged 14.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

The senior fell on his arm during the No. 2 seed’s 74-48 win over 15-seed Cal State Fullerton. He was clearly in pain, but did return to the game after the fall.

Purdue is the No. 2 seed in Villanova’ East Region.  The Boilermakers’ odds off winning the tournament went from 12-1 to 25-1 following Haas’ injury according to Westgate Sportsbook.
