Paterno says Evans and Koroma will play

Penn State coach Joe Paterno said last night on his weekly radio show that defensive linemen Maurice Evans and Abe Koroma would play tomorrow against Illinois.

The juniors, both starters, were suspended for the last three games after police found less than two grams of marijuana at their on-campus apartment on Sept. 2.

Each was charged with a misdemeanor Sept. 17, and the case was handed over to the university's Office of Judicial Affairs on Monday.

"Judicial Affairs people have indicated that there isn't anything that they're going to do to say they can't play," Paterno said.
