Dartmouth update: The Big Green has lost to Colgate (34-15) and at New Hampshire (44-14) ... They're last in Ivies in time of possession, and in rushing ... They're last in the Football Championship Subdivision in rushing defense ... Shawn Abuhoff is fourth in the nation in kickoff returns, 10th in punt returns.

History: Temple has won all four meetings. Last November it was 55-52 at the Linc.

Temple update: The Owls are coming off a 37-13 home win over Buffalo ... James Nixon ran a kickoff back 92 yards for a TD, and Elijah Joseph scored on a 95-yard interception return ... Freshman RB Bernard Pierce (Glen Mills) carried 20 times for 116 yards and a TD.

Eastern Michigan update: The Eagles, under first-year coach Ron English, have lost to Army (27-14), at Northwestern (27-24) and at Michigan (45-17) ... QB Andy Schmitt (knee) has been lost for the season. Either true freshman Alex Gillett or junior Kyle McMahon, or maybe both, will play.

Villanova vs. William & Mary

Records: Both teams 4-0, 1-0 in the Colonial Athletic Association.

History: William & Mary leads series, 14-11-1, but VU has won the last four meetings.

William & Mary update: The Tribe is ranked fifth nationally ... R.J. Archer (70-for-117, 779 yards) has thrown for eight TDs and ran for another, with only two interceptions ... Third-year defensive coordinator Bob Shoop held the same position at 'Nova in 1997 when 'Cats were No. 1.

Villanova update: Wildcats are No. 2 nationally ... Backup TB Angelo Babbaro (turf toe), a big special-teams contributor, is questionable ... 'Cats are 4-0 for the first time since 2003. They've won 14 of their last 15 at home ... They have a CAA-best eight INTs ... Tony Canci has caught four passes, three for TDs.
