VCU women edge Drexel

Drexel had four players score in double figures but Virginia Commonwealth's Courtney Hurt's double-double gave host VCU a 69-65 edge yesterday in Richmond, Va.

Jasmina Rosseel (17 points) and Kamile Nacickaite (12) led Drexel (12-8, 4-5 Colonial Athletic) in a second-half rally. However, Hurt's 23 points (game high) and career high 23 rebounds proved the difference for VCU (12-7, 7-2).
