HARRISONBURG, Va. - Samme Givens scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half as Drexel rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat James Madison, 67-64, in a Colonial Athletic Association game last night at the JMU Convocation Center.
Jamie Harris also scored in double figures for the Dragons (16-15, 11-7 CAA) with 10 points.
Pierre Curtis had a team-high 15 points for JMU (12-19, 4-14), which had three other players who scored in double figures.
It was the last game of the regular season.
Drexel earned the sixth seed in the conference tournament, which will open Friday night in Richmond, Va. The Dragons will meet the 11th-seeded Dukes again, in the final game of the first round at 8:30 p.m.
They were able to pull away in the final 41 seconds last night by making 6 of 6 free throws.
