Penn State forms search committee

Penn State acting athletic director David Joyner will head a six-person search committee to find Penn State's new head football coach, the athletic department announced Monday. The committee will meet this week, Joyner said in a press release.

The committee includes:

-Linda Caldwell (Penn State's faculty athletics representative)

-Charmelle Green (Penn State associate athletic director and senior woman administrator)

-Ira Lubert (Chairman and co-founder of Independence Capital Partners and Lubert Adler Partners)

-John Nichols (Professor Emeritus in Penn State's College of Communications, Chair of Coalition on Intercollegiate Athletics)

-Russ Rose (Penn State's longtime women's volleyball coach, five-time national champion)
