Former Temple standout Marc Jackson was honored during Saturday's game against Duquesne for being the Owls' 23d men's basketball player inducted into the Big Five Hall of Fame.

The 1997 Atlantic Ten player of the year scored 1,001 points during his two seasons at Temple. He was a two-time all-Big Five and all-conference selection.

Had not thought about Jackson in a long time. I go to see his senior year at TU---he was really, really good. A rare, big-time scorer for Chaney.

"A rare big-time scorer for Chaney" Mark Macon, Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones, Rick Brunson, Pepe Sanchez, Quincy Wadley, Lynn Greer, David Hawkins and Mardy Collins weren't big time scorers? Hawkins was either the 3rd or 4th leading scorer in the country in 2003-2004, and had a long streak of 20+ points per game that year. I could go on, but you get the point.
