Without providing an explanation, Temple coach Steve Addazio canceled Sunday's scheduled media availability after football practice.

The cancelation could have something to do with the passing of Garrett Reid, the oldest son of Eagles coach Andy Reid.

Garrett Reid's brothers are members of the Temple football team. Spencer Reid is a redshirt freshman running back. Britt Reid is an offensive graduate assistant.

The Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports that Garrett Reid, 29, was found dead in a Lehigh University dorm room Sunday morning. Garrett Reid had been assisting the Eagles during training camp.

Addazio did, however, issue this statement in regards to the news: “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Reid family.”
