Live updates: 2013 NCAA tournament Sunday third round games

Highlighted by Temple vs. Indiana and La Salle vs. Mississippi.

UPDATE: Tyrone Garland hit the game-winning shot with 2.5 seconds left to lead La Salle past Mississippi, 76-74, in Kansas City. The Explorers are headed to the Sweet 16 in Los Angeles. They'll play Wichita State in the West Region semifinal on Thursday.

The "Southwest Philly Floater," as Garland called it in a television interview after the game, will go down as one of the great shots in Philadelphia college basketball history.

What a remarkable run it has been for La Salle. John Giannini and his players deserve every minute of the celebrations they'll have when they get back to Philly.

Temple fell to Indiana, 58-52. Khalif Wyatt scored 31 points in the loss. Scootie Randall, Jake O'Brien and Will Cummings were a combined 0-19 from the field.

It's a tough way to go, but the Owls had the Hoosiers on the ropes even with Randall, O'Brien and Cummings scoreless. They have a lot to be proud of - and I'd remind you that Fran Dunphy has won NCAA tournament games in two of the last three seasons.
