College football games to watch

Michigan at Michigan State, noon, ESPN: The Wolverines are pointing to a showdown against Ohio State but must be focused on the Spartans, losers of five straight. But strange things happen in this game; remember the crazy blocked punt that Michigan State returned for a TD on the game's final play last year?

Washington at Utah, 3:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1: The division leaders in the Pac-12 square off with a spot in the College Football Playoff in play. It will be the passing of the Huskers' Jake Browning against the Utes' rushing attack led by Joe Williams, who ran for a school-record 332 yards last week against UCLA.

Nebraska at Wisconsin, 7 p.m., ESPN: Though the Cornhuskers are undefeated, they have yet to post a statement win, and could do it at the always wacky Camp Randall Stadium. Meanwhile, Corey Clement (298 rush yards the last two weeks) and the Badgers must win to stay in the Big Ten West title chase.

Clemson at Florida State, 8 p.m., 6ABC: The Tigers, off last week after a shaky overtime win over North Carolina State, put their 21-game regular-season winning streak on the line at Doak Campbell Stadium, where they are 3-12 all-time. The Seminoles can move the ball behind Deondre Francis and Dalvin Cook.
