As the game clock neared zero, Tufts attack John Uppgren fired the tying shot toward the net. Colin Reymann snatched it, the buzzer sounded, and his teammates sprinted toward the Salisbury goalie in celebration.

"I'm not sure who had the ball. It happened so fast. . . . I just kept my hands high," said Reymann, who was named the game's most outstanding player. "Next thing I knew, it was in my stick."

As Salisbury celebrated a 14-13 victory, its first title since 2012, Tufts walked off the field quietly, having been denied its third straight NCAA Division III championship Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Sea Gulls (23-1) went on an 8-0 run at midgame, but Tufts (20-3) responded with a 7-0 run of its own.

For Tufts, Uppgren scored a team-high four goals. Austin Carbone and Zach Richman added two each. Nick Garbarino and James Burton topped the Salisbury leader board with three scores apiece.

Le Moyne 8, Limestone 4 - The NCAA Division II final was knotted at 4-4 for about 12 minutes before Le Moyne (20-0) scored two quick goals in the fourth quarter. Matt Taylor, Logan Thomas, and Mike Jenkins each scored twice for the Dolphins of Syracuse, N.Y.

Jordan Saunderson tallied twice for the Saints (21-1), who did not score at all in the second half.

The game was a rematch of last year's Division II title game, which Limestone won, 9-6.
