HERB MAGEE'S journey to 1,000 wins has been detoured by the weather.

Philadelphia University's game at Bloomfield (12-5) this afternoon was postponed because of snow in the forecast. It was rescheduled for Feb. 19.

That means the earliest Magee can get to four figures in this, his 48th season on the sideline at his Division II alma mater, is next Saturday at home against Caldwell (9-8). He's now at 997.

Mike Krzyzewski, coach of Division I Duke, can become the first college coach at any level to reach that milestone tomorrow afternoon at St. John's.

The Rams (12-5) host Holy Family (14-5) on Tuesday. They lost by 22 points at Holy Family on Dec. 3. They visit Goldey-Beacom (6-11) on Thursday. After Caldwell, they're at home against Wilmington (7-8) on Feb. 3 and Post on Feb. 7.
