Wyatt fined $1,000. Temple guard Khalif Wyatt was fined $1,000 Friday in Atlantic City Municipal Court after he was charged with engaging in prostitution and resisting arrest in connection with a prostitution sting in June.

Wyatt also was ordered to perform community service. Authorities said Wyatt solicited an undercover officer who was posing as a prostitute, then attempted to flee before he was arrested.

"Khalif Wyatt has expressed remorse for his actions and has apologized for the embarrassment that has come to his family, team, and university," Dunphy said. "We have taken appropriate action with Khalif and believe the matter is now behind us."

Wyatt said, "I take full responsibility for my actions and have learned from this mistake." - Keith Pompey
