Dragons beaten by Bradley, 76-60

The Dragons fell to Bradley, 76-60, in a nonleague game at Carver Arena.

Chris Fouch, in his first game back from a shoulder injury, scored 16 points for the Dragons (15-14), while Leon Spencer scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Jamie Harris scored 10 and Samme Givens had 12 rebounds.

Sam Maniscalco had 20 points and Andrew Warren scored 18 for the Braves (14-13), who play in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Chris Roberts had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Bradley.

Coach Bruiser Flint's Dragons were unable to contend with their hot-shooting opponents who connected on 27 of 50 attempts from the field for a 54 percent mark.

Drexel, on the other hand, struggled to a 34.4 percent mark, making 21 of 61 attempts.

While the Dragons had the rebounding edge, 36-31, they also committed 14 turnovers compared with 10 for the Braves.

Drexel will return to competition in the Colonial Athletic Association on Wednesday, when the Dragons will host UNC Wilmington at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
