Arnold joins Martelli's staff at Saint Joseph's

Geoff Arnold is moving back to his alma mater, Saint Joseph's.

Soon, it will be formally announced that Arnold, associate head coach at Drexel under Bruiser Flint, his old backcourt partner at Saint Joseph's, will be going back to Hawk Hill to take Doug Overton's spot on Phil Martelli's staff.

Arnold was on Martelli's staff during his first season as St. Joe's head coach in 1995-96. Arnold also spent three seasons with Martelli under John Griffin at SJU. When Flint got the Massachusetts head job for the 1996-97 season, Arnold went with his old friend to Amherst. They coached together for five seasons at UMass before coming to Drexel together in 2001. After six seasons with the Dragons, Arnold is going back to the school where he graduated in 1986. *
