Here is a suggestion Tornoe. Let the posters vote for their favorite captions then whatever captions that get the most votes should win. Then the next highest votes get runner up, then 2nd runner up & so forth. Because the captions you pick are not always funny nor clever.

I'm gonna be unbiased and not choose any of my posts, but I like the creativity of the ones below and feel they were great for the captions, even some others are good.

Rob...I like the contest and I like the cartoons, this has been an original idea for philly.com. I look forward to them every week. I enjoy reading some of the posts. And I can't even imagine how much time you must spend reading all the submissions. I think they way you do it is just fine. Keep up the good work.
