The disappointment in Carson Wentz's eyes was obvious.

The Eagles star quarterback took to Twitter Monday evening to deliver his first words since he suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the Rams.

He started by confessing how difficult it is to have his season ended so suddenly. Wentz closed with a stern pledge.

"I promise," he said. "This will not stop me and I will come back stronger than ever."
