Carson Wentz may have more friends in unfriendly jerseys than he thought.

After the second-year quarterback tore his ACL against the Rams on Sunday, a flock of current and former NFL players took to social media to send their well wishes.

There were current, and former Eagles.

There was Jordan Matthews, who was one of Wentz's best friends last season. Matthews was traded to the Bills during training camp, and Wentz drove Matthews to the airport.

Then there were guys who make their living chasing Wentz, and other quarterbacks, around.

There were fellow quarterbacks who share Wentz's craft of making impressive plays the evade defenders, including Deshaun Watson, who is overcoming his own ACL injury. Watson went down during a practice in early November.

And, as with most Twitter-related events, there will always be Joel Embiid.
