REMEMBERING FRAZIER
Stan Hochman: Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali brought out the best in each other in the ring and the worst in each other outside the ring. And now Frazier is gone and Ali cannot put two sentences together to mourn our loss. And that is terribly sad.
Bill Lyon: Joe Frazier won an Olympic gold medal in 1964, then presented to his adopted home the heavyweight championship of the world. Philadelphia, in turn, treated Frazier like one of its own.
