Penn State received oral commitments Saturday from a pair of offensive tackles who were on campus to attend the annual Blue-White Game.

Penn State received oral commitments Saturday from a pair of offensive tackles who were visiting the campus this weekend to attend the annual Blue-White Game.

Nana Asiedu, of North Stafford High School in Stafford, Va., and Antwan Reed, of Muskegon High School in Muskegon, Mich., gave their commitments to head coach James Franklin and his coaches prior to the start of the game.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Asiedu was rated a four-star recruit by three recruiting services – Scout.com, 247Sports.com and Rivals.com. Reed, who stands 6-5 ½ and weighs 326 pounds, was rated three stars by the same services.

Asiedu, who tweeted his acceptance of Penn State's scholarship offer, also had Clemson, Georgia and Auburn on his list of finalists. Reed considered Virginia Tech, Michigan, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee, among other schools.

The announcement increased the number of commitments for Penn State's freshman Class of 2018 to 13.

The commitments came one day after Chris Bleich, an offensive tackle from Plymouth, Pa., and Wyoming Valley West High School, announced that he was decommiting from the Nittany Lions and reopening his recruitment.
